Burp suite v1.01은 실행 jar 파일로 되어있는 웹 어플리케이션 보안 테스트툴이다.

기능은 다음과 같다.

1. Proxy Server : 특정 URL, 입력 데이터 Intercept 및 패킷 조작 전송.
2. Web Spider : Link 분석
3. 몇가지 웹 공격 수행

Burp Suite is an integrated platform for attacking web applications. It contains all of the Burp tools with numerous interfaces between them designed to facilitate and speed up the process of attacking an application. All tools share the same robust framework for handling HTTP requests, authentication, downstream proxies, logging, alerting and extensibility. 
Burp Suite allows you to combine manual and automated techniques to enumerate, analyse, attack and exploit web applications. The various Burp tools work together effectively to share information and allow findings identified within one tool to form the basis of an attack
